Climate protection measures in the operation of the online shop

Measures to reduce emissions are taken into account in the operation of the TU Hamburg online shop. In addition, any emissions generated are offset through a recognised climate protection project.

The day-to-day running of the shop is carried out in collaboration with a partner who also supports climate-related projects.

Our commitment to sustainability

When selecting our merchandise, we ensure that material specifications are transparent, that manufacturing standards are of the highest quality, and that the products are durable.

The range includes, amongst other things, items featuring:

• Organic cotton or recycled content
• Manufactured within Europe
• Certified standards such as OEKO-TEX®, GOTS, GRS or Blue Angel (depending on the product)
• Durable and reusable materials
• Production facilities that, according to the manufacturer, comply with social and legal standards

Together with our merchandising partner, we are working to continuously develop our product range and increase the proportion of products made from certified materials and manufactured to defined standards.
